OUR STORY

Office Labs experiments with ideas that come from anywhere inside Microsoft, and we’ve created this online sandbox where you can see and play with concepts we’re exploring to help improve your productivity.

The prototypes, ideas, and conversations you’ll come across include:

• Labs Projects developed in partnership with Microsoft Office product teams;

• Grassroots Projects initiated by Microsoft employees, and

• A variety of videos and demo scenarios that explore how technology might impact our way of life in the years to come.

As you view and try our ideas and prototypes on the site, treat them like "Concept Cars." They aren't actual products or features of Microsoft Office and may not work perfectly under all conditions. However, they are steps toward improving everyday productivity and we’d like you to be part of the innovation moving forward by taking a test drive or two, telling us what you think, and helping us shape the technology of the future.
